Background Music Player using JAVASCRIPT

Presented here is a JavaScript based music player with a small control panel that plays music when you browse the internet. It can play MP3, WAV & MPG audio files. You can also use this player when you are in offline. The limitation is you can only listen to a limited online music collection provided by streaming media service providers. You have no other choice. The advantage of this music player is that you can play your own music files which are stored in your PC and enjoy your browsing time. You can place the control panel on top of a web page or behind the webpage as background music player.

We have millions of web pages on the internet and some of them come with background music. The idea behind putting sound in a webpage is to give introduction of the site or a soothing experience during browsing. But this can be annoying if only one type of music goes on playing repeatedly. One solution is to stop the music by pressing ‘ESC’ key, but doing so can stop the webpage from loading further, which can hamper the browsing. Refreshing or reloading the page will start the same audio file.
